Reelyx ("we") is a service based in India that recreates a reel with your own character. This page explains, in plain words, what data we use and why. Questions: help.vruvixtech@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, optional name, and a password hash (or, if you use Google sign-in, your Google basic profile: name, email and an account id).
- Your uploads: the reference reel and the character photo.
- Your results: the generated video and the glitch-check report.
- Analysis data: the written description of the reference reel (scenes, expressions, timing), saved as JSON.
- Technical logs and the cost of each job, so we can run the service and fix problems.
Why we use it
- To make your video.
- To run, secure and improve the service.
- To prevent abuse and enforce our rules.
Who processes your data
We use these providers to run Reelyx. They process data only to provide their part of the service.
- Railway — hosting and database (servers in the US).
- Cloudflare R2 — private file storage for your uploads and results.
- Google Gemini — analyses the reference reel and checks the finished video for glitches.
- Runway — generates the video from your reference reel and character photo.
- Google Sign-In — optional login. We receive your basic profile only.
- Instagram — only if you paste a reel link and press "Show reel": the preview is Instagram's own embed, loaded by your browser from Instagram. We don't download or store the reel.
Under our settings and their terms, Google Gemini and Runway do not use your files to train their models.
How long we keep data
- Your uploads and results are deleted 24 hours after your video is done, or straight away when you delete the project.
- Your account data is kept until you delete your account. Settings → Delete account removes everything.
Selling, sharing and ads
- We do not sell your data.
- No ads and no advertising trackers.
Cookies
We use one session cookie to keep you logged in. Nothing else.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time. You can delete projects and your account yourself in the app, or email help.vruvixtech@gmail.com.
Children
Reelyx is for people aged 13 and over. You must be 18 or over to use someone else's likeness with their consent.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
